George Kefford is a young Anglo-Australian explorer and writer who specialises in human-powered journeys: often by foot; sometimes by kayak. His expeditions have featured in newspapers and media sites internationally.
At the age of 17, he walked, alone, across Israel, Palestine, and Jordan, writing a book about this incredible feat, which can be read by following this link.
Recently he returned from Morocco where after studying Arabic in Rabat, he walked the 250km length of the Souss River from its source in the High Atlas Mountains to its mouth near Agadir.
He has covered over 2400km on his expeditions, which you can read about here.
In Summer 2021 he will undertake his most ambitious expedition yet: to walk across the Kurdish inhabited areas of Turkey and Iraq.
